Most of the time we believe that if we change or influence the ideology of people we can be successful in eliminating biases at workplace. Ideology does play the most important role, however it unconsciously or consciously gives rise to work design and work processes which also shape the behaviours and experiences of people at workplace. Policies and practices that are premised on distinctions give rise to inequity . Our model is based on the above premise and hence our interventions focus on streamlining the policies and practices to create desirable behaviours which lead to equity and hence inclusion which in turn fosters diversity in the organizations. Diversity and Equity lead to an engaged staff and innovative organization where people perform at their best which ultimately results in superior organizational performance.
