Gendered Labour Process

Gendered labour process is a form of managerial control, that views work design, work organization, organizational context and organizational demands as incompatible with gender distinctions, and as a constraint in achieving organizational economic goals. Some managers, while engaging in the discourses of gender equal and gender-neutral work practices, may marginalize and exclude women from workplaces, to realize their economic interests pertaining to organizing and coordinating labour power.
